Yes, and it is a distinct strand of the work. We assess the scholarships, grants and fee reductions open to you while the universities are still being chosen: some competitions close before the admissions round itself, so leaving funding until later is leaving it too late. What is available depends on the country, the programme and the applicant, and the decision rests with the university or the funding body.

Yes. We work on the CV, the letter of motivation, the letters of recommendation and the other materials in the application.

Yes. Once an offer of admission is in hand we support the visa stage: the procedure in the particular country, the documents required, the proof of funds and the submission deadlines. The decision rests with the consulate, so what we are responsible for is the quality of the application, not the outcome.

As a rule of thumb, twelve to eighteen months before the course starts. That timescale is set not by us but by external dates: the English test, the recognition of your qualifications, separate scholarship competitions and visa processing all run to their own calendars, and several of them close before the application itself.

No, and nor can anyone else: admission is decided by the university’s admissions committee and the visa is issued by the consulate. EDMONT is responsible for what lies within our control: the strategy, the choice of programmes, the quality of the application and meeting the requirements and deadlines. Promises of “guaranteed admission” do not appear in our materials.
